Local Information for Children and Young People

The aim of this website page is to signpost you to helpful local support and resources.

Helping yourself feel heard

If you have an allocated social worker this leaflet can help you access advocacy support through Children's Services. An Advocate is someone who makes sure you are treated fairly, your rights are respected, and that adults listen to what you want and how you feel. They help make sure your views are heard and taken seriously by the people working with you.

This leaflet can help you understand the complaints process within Children's Services when you're not happy with something

If you have had a good experience with someone who works in Wokingham's Children's Services, or would like to tell us about things we could do better, you can let us know anonymously here.

This website is still in the process of being built. If you have any feedback on what you would like to see on this page, please notify our team at childrenspartnership@wokingham.gov.uk
